By "proclaiming" that you are counter-culture...you are , in fact, part of that...Culture....

Yea...counter-culture is by its own right a "culture", just not one widely accepted by the norm. If such a thing as the "norm" even exists, it is really only determined by those who view themselves as "normal"...so really, we are no different aside from the fact that I don't really like the "normal" people. And I eat Doritos.

So why is it I would be jealous? Even if they are "unique" which in itself is debateable as there is no change with these people, their life remains constant (up at 6, to work by 7, off work at 3, back home to the family)...what's unique about that lifestyle? Billions of people live that same lifestyle, nothing unique about it and by many it is considered the "norm". So individuality is dampened by the "norm" people looking down and/or being critical of people whom don't live their lifestyle...
