Topic: Democrats now defending their votes | |
---|---|
I have notice as the presidential campaigns get rolling the Democrats
that voted for the resolution to invade Iraq are scrambling to distance themselves from the votes they cast. It comes as no suprise to me that they are blaming bush for their yes votes on authorizing placing troops in harms way. You must ask yourself an important question. How many of them were privy to strategic and tactical information? Several of them! Most if not all of them! check it. They were on committees that would have had the same information that bush had. Any claim of ignorance of the facts is false. Its all politics as usual. perhaps as thy spend this time one-upping each other a true independant candidate will come along the will capture the will of the people. |

I agree with you. I don't really like any candidate in either party.
There is a very interesting book from a couple years ago called America's Secret War. The author who is an intelligence expert contends that the WMD story was disinformation put out by the Iranians. Basically they duped the world in order to strengthen their position in the region. |

As a proud DEMOCRAT I believe plenty of those REPUBLICANS ran to vote to
get this war started. WHO CARES! America was and still remains at risk for terrorism. Our country was under attack on 9/11 AB. Now I dont care if GORE or BUSH sat as president. I SUPPORT AND STILL DO THE PRESIDENT ON THIS ISSUE. GOD BLESS AMERICA and all the brave MEN AND WOMEN serving in Iraq. |
