you know I don't even know.. It had pi which I've done but then you had to make up areas to fill in areas to measure the sq. footage, I can do that.. BUT then you had to "guess" and what the area measured that you drew it.. Now um NO, how would I know that... LOL

Yeah. That sounds a wee bit vague to me. It's amazing teachers actually allow that kind of incredibly vague stuff to get to the students nowadays.

well the problem is they expect the kids to take notes, extensive notes and well most kids don't.. At least I know mine doesn't for sure.. So when I help him I'm left in the dark.. They have the new math now and not one time has he brought home anything to explain how they do it, so I can only do what I know which is old school math...
