The Abandonment Prayer of Charles de Foucauld

Father,
I abandon myself into your hands; do with me what you will. Whatever you
may do, I thank you: I am ready for all, I accept all. Let only your
will be done in me, and in all your creatures -- I wish no more than
this, O Lord.
Into your hands I commend my soul; I offer it to you with all the love
of my heart, for I love you Lord, and so need to give myself, to
surrender myself into your hands, without reserve, and with boundless
confidence, for you are my Father.

PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISSI

This page was last updated on: February 8, 2007Lord, make me an
instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light;

And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to
console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For
it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are
pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen.

The two people who wrote this prayers are considered saints by catholic
church.
For me a saint it's not a image to worship.
A saint it's a human being just like u and me, it's life that has too
many positive things from which I can learn to make my life better.

I think a saint is anyone who lives for God and makes Jesus their souls
desire.
The prayer is what I want for my life and I have prayed it many times
but none of them were as beautiful as this one is.

Also, this prayer works well for me.

Lord, Please close the doors you do not want me to go through, and leave
the ones opened that you want me to continue going through".

I left my life in Jesus's Hands back last May.

Psalms
Chapter 23
1
1 A psalm of David. 2 The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack.
2
In green pastures you let me graze; to safe waters you lead me;
3
3 you restore my strength. You guide me along the right path for the
sake of your name.
4
4 Even when I walk through a dark valley, I fear no harm for you are at
my side; your rod and staff give me courage.
5
5 You set a table before me as my enemies watch; You anoint my head with
oil; my cup overflows.
6
6 Only goodness and love will pursue me all the days of my life; I will
dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.

God is at the window

There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was
given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the
woods; but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged,
he headed back for dinner.

As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse,
he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it.
He was shocked and grieved! In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood
pile; only to see his sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she
said nothing.

After lunch the next day Grandma said, "Sally, let's wash the dishes."
But Sally said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the
kitchen." Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?" So Johnny did
the dishes.

Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and
Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper." Sally
just smiled and said, "Well that's all right because Johnny told me he
wanted to help." She whispered again, "Remember the duck?" So Sally
went fishing and Johnny stayed to help.

After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's; he
finally couldn't stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed
that he had killed the duck. Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and
said, "Sweetheart, I know. You
see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because
I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let
Sally make a slave of you."

Thought for the day and every day thereafter? Whatever is in your past,
whatever you have done... and the devil keeps throwing it up in your
face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger,
bitterness, etc.)...whatever it is...You need to know that God was
standing at the window and He saw the whole thing. He has seen your
whole life. He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are
forgiven.

He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.
The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness; He not
only forgives you, but He forgets. It is by God's grace and mercy that
we are saved.
Always remember:

God is at the window!

When Jesus died on the cross; he was thinking of you!
