BEFORE OUR EYES
Effortlessly, seamlessly, painlessly, unmistakably, in between and among the young, the old the soft, the cold, a breeze blows across the lake, to touch and make its presence known, a fragrance hinting LOVE'S cologne. In this moment all are shown the gift of life ~ a painted sky, a seagull flies, a human sighs, a sun supplied, horizon implies a portal, no disguise. And the mist ascended On foot heading for the heavens with desire I'm disappearing in the distance, far away in the fire When I find no words And I loose my breath and altitude Then I find out that All finite things reveal infinitude |

Interesting poem … I like your comment about the horizon as a portal. The fearless and the explorer have always seen it that way, yet so many see the horizon as the limit of their world.
