Either shortbread and tea or swedish rye cookies and coffee...of course a white chocolate macidamia cookie is a stand alone!

I like Pecan Sandies or homemade chocolate chip with nuts - pair either of those with cold milk and I'm happy love

SWEDISH RYE COOKIES

Ingredients:
1/2 c butter
1/4 c sugar
1/2 c rye flour
1 c all purpose flour
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp water
Instructions: In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar. Stir in rye flour, all purpose flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well and add enough water to moisten dough. Roll dough out on a floured board (the thinner the dough the crispier the cookies will be, 1/4" is the thickest I would suggest). Using cookie cutters cut into various shapes. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 until slightly browned. YUM!
