Game 4 '78 Series against the Dodgers.
Jackson on first. Grounder to shortstop Bill Russell. Russell fields, steps on 2nd to force Jackson. Then fires to first to complete the double play. Reggie, however, sees the play developing. As Russell's throw is about to go by him, Reggie STICKS HIS ASS OUT into the path of the ball and sends it into left field. Something made me think of this and I sat here and laughed so hard I thought I was gonna die. |
