My mother's hands were always calloused from her daily deeds.
She worked all day then worked at home, taking care of all our needs.
Course and tough, yet soft as silk with her loving touch to me.
A kiss goodnight and don't let the bed bugs bite.
My dear sweet mother kept us all happy, even if life was hard.
She always had an ear to listen, even if she was dead tired.
My memories of her life will always start with her gentle hands.
and her beautiful golden rings.
Now older and so frail, her smile and her gentle touch make me
know I love her so much.
And when she is called home.
And she leaves us all alone.
I know her beautiful hands and rings,
will turn into beautiful Angel wings.


I love you now Mother and forever May GOD always keep you safe.
