I don't see the average girl in your age range thinking they should run the other way just looking at you. A smile always improves face value. You are not that unlike my son and he snagged a lot of attention on his looks alone; especially when he added a couple more years and had a job. It is tough being a student but stay in school it will definitely make you more attractive on many levels. I would be hard pressed to say what younger women would find stylish but I would stick with the clean shaven face and ditch the hat and sunglasses. Don't flatter your features and makes people wonder if you have hair. I will say don't give up; hang out around other students and be pleasant and you will have plenty of opportunity for dates.

If you combine the bad-boy look with an innocent-teach me attitude you'll have it made. No hat, no glasses. Google some pics of James Dean, Elvis Presley and you'll see what I mean.
