When I see a woman I am attracted to,I usually give them a complimentary look,which I can best describe as a quick glance,a few times not many,my glance might linger a little to long,I think most men do this from time to time and most woman don't take offense as long as your eyes are not roving all over their bodies,but a few woman get upset if you only are glancing in their direction,wouldn't most woman take as a compliment that men notice them,I mean without the leering,how long is to long to look at a woman,men will look and woman know this, after all boys will be boys.
