omg Be careful!! with my luck i would go down the highway and it would come right up the middle You aren't in your truck are you? yes I am Betty ,,,where did you think i would be I a motel 1 for the night. You sleep in your truck? i sleep in the truck ,,, actually i have 2 beds in here and a cooler and a tv and the computer and food when i'm hungry ,, i can stay out here for awhile if need be ,,,, but its worse on the ice roads I hate driving on ice.Its the worse! ice roads aren't quite what you are use to ,,, max speeds of about 20 ,, and bush roads aren't fun either

my nephew drives those big things that carries cars. for Chrysler think.

Jessie ...does cali get hurricanes No Hurricanes here, I am glad about that. One of the dykes broke here once about 25 years ago. Water was everywhere and in some places up to 8 feet high.

bush roads ,are the roads they make in the winter to get to the ice roads on the lakes,,,,they cut roads along hydro lines to drive the rigs into the bush

As long as I've lived here just went through one Hurricane last Year. The one in 83 I missed was a year I moved away. Was back the next.

The auto lift let go and left him dangling .totally disconnected his shoulder and he had to have surgery twice. He was out of commission for a long time.

Downtown Palm Springs is 35 minutes from my home.

Carold, I was wondering what happened to you....you been on the other side? I was in one back in the 80's down at McAllen. Last year, I had just set up for a rally in Lake Summerville when Ike was coming in....I got the heck out of Dodge!
