Love rains like acid
Burns and wounds those
Who aren't careful
Wiping away the desire
To ever love again

Love flows like water
Running like a calm spring
Or raging like rapids
Its in constant motion.

Love grows like a flower
Beautiful and slow at first
Till it speeds through to wither in the end
Never getting a chance
To express itself.

Love blows like the wind
Soft and perfect on sunny spring days
And disastrous on those days we wish to forget
But never the less the love is there
Blowing with all its' might.

You may get burned, fall of the boat,
Wither for a while, or get blown away, but
Love IS…worth the bad days
If it means your love for one another grows.
