i can spend my life picking apart,
every little thing i see,
or judging people from the start,
because they're not how i think they should be,
i could pass by doors that could be unlocked,
because i might not like what lays behind,
or keep the ship of my spirit docked,
never set sail to see what i find.
i can let what other people think,
stop me from making a choice,
and in the pits of sorrow sink,
because i was to weak to use my voice.
instead i think i'll bare my soul,
and let my spirit dance,
i'll never wonder what may have been,
because i was willing to take a chance.
