Piddly Poo
You know, those odds and ends, paper clip and sandwich ties that always need to bend. Pretty napkin from the tea. Fortune cookies, hmm, let me read. Pennies, how did they end up there? I coulda used them had to borrow a spare. Snipits of writing, notes about what? Time has not answered, scratched are my thoughts. Pencils and pens with dried up ink. Candy and gum it's all sticky, I think! The big things I handle, with silence of ease. It's the piddly and the poo poo, I complain about these. Cumbersome, irritating, now needing time. All I want to do, is hide away and rhyme. Back to the task. Diminishing piles. Soon I will be feeling the miles. Piddle, no time. Poo is in it's place. A knock on my new door, Wow! Your smiling face!
