Yes! Women are the future of skateboarding and rock n' roll. I've amassed this ridiculous collection of skateboarding videos over the years... most of which are stored on random DVD's floating around in my unorganized stacks of books.
Rodney Mullen, the guy who invented the kickflip, learned how to skate on a dirt road. His dad was a dentist who told him that he could skateboard, but if he fell once that was it. Hehe. So he never fell. Samurai of the streets, but instead of swords we use skateboards.
