Hey:) Just wondering what ppl on this forum think of streetpreaching/evangelism/witnessing? I never did any until recently, i got very convicted listening to Ray Comfort's "hells best kept secret" and listening to The way of the master radio, so i went out in Melborne and handed out a few tract's with a friend who does it once a week, biggest buzz i had in about 10yr's, I had the chance/blessing of sharing the gospel with a satanist and her friend's, I lead her through the law, showing her her sin and guilt before God, showed her the reasonable result of that which is Hell, then shared the Good new's, Jesus Christ and Him crucified, first time she ever understood the Gospel, it was so good to see a satanist take as many tract's and literature as she could get. Has anyone here heard of "way of the master"?Ohhh it just felt so good to share my faith, now i try to do it in brisbane once a week, what do ya think guyz/galz? I know some ppl disagree with street preaching, there are different kind's, the kind i subscribe to can be seen on you tube under ray comfort witnessing or kirk cameron witnessing:)

I think street preaching is an awesome thing- it depends on how you go about it that really pulls people in. Many times we have seen souls come to Christ as a result and there is no greater feeling than the expansion of Gods Kingdom... I used to give away Bibles to the homeless with a $5 bill inside and the look of amazement over the bible- half of them didnt even care about the money- it was the fact that some one cared enough to give them a bible...It made me cry everytime. It will really make you realize how fortunate you are- it is a very humbling experience.

Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

I respect the preacher. When its time to preach it's time to preach. When it's time to lead it's time to lead. I wish you well on your endeavors to be a good preacher and servant of God.

I always think of this verse when it comes to the Lord and his messengers.

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Be completely honest. That is, don't use deceitful methods to get attention. I was with people who would stage phoney skits to get kids to gather. I've heard of some who put on karate exhibitions to get people's attention. There is no need to do such things. It is deceitful and sends the wrong message: that a Christian is allowed to do evil so that good will be the result. I've heard it said that one should pray the Lord sends on person every day that a Christian can talk with, not talk down to. Let them express what they have to say, and expect no immediate conversions. Think about it, at one person per day, in a year you will have told the gospel to 365 people. And one-on-one usually works wonders, more so than assembly-line Christianity, bring them through and send them on!
