Any fans of this band from Memphis? Released two albums on the Stax label in the early 70's and another un-released album that surfaced in the late 80's. The lead songwriter was Alex Chilton who was formerly a member of The Box Tops. This is one of my all time favorite bands. If you don't know em' I highly suggest you check em' out!

I heard from a friend that Alex Chilton passed over on march 17th... shame... I'd never heard of him but thanks to this thread I see that I missed out on some musical genius...
