I like to put Cavender's Greek seasoning on almost everything. Just
wondering if others had favorite seasonings. I used to make Cavender's
so I know what is inside of it. We had to stop putting Monosodium
Glutamate in it which was one of the preservatives.

I love the garlic, ciao bela. I have heard of using oregano in
spaghetti. I am sure there is some use for rosemary. We have it in greek
seasoning.

Ground pepper tastes different than regular pepper in my opinion like
fresh ground coffee. The aroma is different.

Has anyone found a good purpose for allspice? Surely it is good for
something.

You can get all these little bottles of spices and I have noticed while
visiting others that some of them never get used.

makes you healthier

A nurse brought her own homemade dip to work. It had onions, peppers,
green chilies and tomatoes. I couldn't eat enough bread to counteract
the destruction it did to my stomach.

I have heard that you will never see a Mexican with the common cold. I
don't know how true it is. I think the common cold is afraid of hot
peppers.

Salt, onion, garlic, Black pepper are the basics. For me, a ad a little
salt to almost everything BEFORE i cook it. (it is a mineral that does
extract the flavor of the food) But when in doubt, Franks RedHot Hot
Sauce, and a lot of it!
