Look what's living inside your television.
The Video Dead '87 Zombies escaped from a TV set and wreak havoc on a neighborhood. It's up to Jeff, his sister, and a zombie hunter to stop them. So bad it's good, with some hilarious dialogue. The film itself doesn't follow the traditional zombie rules, and actually comes up with some creative ones of their own. April: "You don't understand. He likes to chase skunks in the woods, and if he finds them he tries to mate with them. Only skunks don't like to mate with poodles, and then they spray him and he really gets turned on." Jeff: "I saw him, I shot him, it's only fair I get to use the chainsaw." Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXFhab0Ideg |

No longer a vegetarian the husband slowly turns into one of the undead, and the wife covers up for him as he feeds on the living. Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPwwq1oJ5r8 |

When the moon turns red, the dead shall rise!
Burial Ground '81 Zombies attack a fancy party. Another classic Italian so bad it's good zombie flick. It's not the zombies that are creepy- It's 25 year old Peter Bark playing a 12 year old boy Peter Bark moments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxAtklfIhoI&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mqkpdB99VQ&feature=related Trailer:(contains gore) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOOwXX-uuso |

They keep coming back in a bloodthirsty lust for HUMAN FLESH!...
Night Of The Living Dead '68 The one that started it all...as far as flesh eating zombie flicks go. Romero freely admits that he ripped off Richard Matheson's I Am Legend- replacing vampires with the undead. Tom Savini would have done the special effects make-up for this had he not been called to duty as a US Army photographer in Vietnam(Savini of course would do the effects for the sequels Dawn and Day of the Dead) One of the biggest fiascos in zombie film history: Night Of The Living Dead 30th Anniversary Edition- For this release Anchor Bay inserted new footage, re-edited, and re-scored the original...without Romero's involvement. Trailer for that edition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ4_5aJyvbQ Original Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pElSu_ECJGM |

Zombie Question Of The Day
Do zombies poop? Think about it....when they are eating all that human flesh and organs, where does it all go? Or should we be seeing zombies walking around with bloated stomachs? |

Zombie Question Of The Day Do zombies poop? Think about it....when they are eating all that human flesh and organs, where does it all go? Or should we be seeing zombies walking around with bloated stomachs? Good call. Under Romero rules I think their stomachs would have to just explode after a certain point. Considering that most of their autonomic functions have completely stopped, such as the need or ability to use their lungs, I can only assume that digestive abilities have ceased as well. In 28 Days Later they poop frequently, I'm sure. |

In 28 Days Later they poop frequently, I'm sure. That might explain why the Romero zombies walk. Do you feel like running if you're constipated? Ooo...it would have been stinky over there, though it would give you great warning for when they are coming. |

Jeff: "I saw him, I shot him, it's only fair I get to use the chainsaw." Hahaha. Win. This thread makes me happy every day. I love The Video Dead. Crazy scenes, dialogue. Jeff is hilarious. One great scene has him sitting in his room getting high, and a naked woman comes out of the TV to seduce him.... |

Zombie Question Of The Day Do zombies poop? Think about it....when they are eating all that human flesh and organs, where does it all go? Or should we be seeing zombies walking around with bloated stomachs? I have a follow up question. If they do poop, how do they do it? Do they sit on a toilet or just let it fall? |

Or should we be seeing zombies walking around with bloated stomachs? I have a follow up question. If they do poop, how do they do it? Do they sit on a toilet or just let it fall? Ha ha...I have a vision of a zombie saying "Hold up guys, I got to use the toilet before we attack the humans." Not a zombie, but in the movie Bubba Ho-Tep, which is about a mummy that terrorizes a retirement home, two of the characters discover Egyptian hieroglyphic graffiti in one of the toilet stalls. Evidently while the mummy was "crapping out souls" he got an urge to write on the walls. |

Well, at least the mummy won't have any trouble looking for wipes. |

Jeff: "I saw him, I shot him, it's only fair I get to use the chainsaw." Hahaha. Win. This thread makes me happy every day. Oh yeah, Jeff also thinks that because he's seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre 6 times, he's an expert on how to use a chainsaw. |

Words lose their meaning when you repeat them.
Pontypool '08 A shock jock and a couple of coworkers find themselves trapped in a small radio station in the town of Pontypool Ontario. A virus is turning the infected into zombies. What do you do when said virus is spreading through the English language? Grant Mazzy: "It's not the end of the world, it's just the end of the day." Based on his book and adapted by Tony Burgess.
