Florida writes illegal alien bill similar to Arizona’s SB1070

“More States are beginning to imitate Arizona immigration bill.” Well, I guess you can add Florida to that list.

Even before the law is finished it is taking some criticism from the open borders crowd. William Snyder, one of the authors of the bill, says that the criticisms seem to be the same as they were in Arizona. “They haven’t read it,” especially since it isn’t even finished yet. They “are reacting to news media misrepresentations and stereotypes of law enforcement professionals.”
Standing up for American sovereignty. Today in Arizona, tomorrow in Florida, soon in the entire U.S.

“The argument that they (the police) will be racially motivated to abuse this law could be made about many laws in statute and is an unfair mischaracterization of Florida’s law enforcement community.”

Snyder’s words ring true as discrimination seems to be a common thread among opponents of any legislation to stop or even slow down the flood of illegals into this country.

Most laws enforcing the actions of people one way or the other can be discriminatory. A law’s discriminatory nature is what keeps most people honest and prevents them from breaking the law.

If a young looking person walks into a bar he will be readily approached and asked to prove he is twenty one. If his identification shows this to be true he will be treated like any other patron. If not, he will be asked to leave.

How is that different from the police stopping someone on the street believing they might be here illegally? And, they happen to ask for I.d. not because he looks younger than everyone else but because he has brown skin.

I need to repeat this over and over again. This is not about race. It’s about sovereignty.

Good Good! This is only the beginning, if they are smart they will have had their law written under the supervision of a constitutional law professor like Arizona did.

That will make about the 22nd State to do it.

Minnesota has many many Illegals working there.

They need to be pressured to do something also.

Bored, encourage people to call the Governors office to see if Az will agree to boycott Wisconsin products until West apologizes in writing, resigns and Wisconsin adopts a like Immigration Law there.

Ya'll have Wisconsin over the barrel. Supervisor Rice already admitted, boycotting Az would have an adverse effect on the economy there.drinker

People in Austin are feeling the boycott back lash as well. i have friends on other sites who have been in contact with her office weekly about supporting and boycotting so we'll see.
