I don't think the original Exorcist was anywhere camp, and most likely the Last Exorcism is just another rip-off. I doubt anyone will ever top William Friedkin.

Yanno, I'm twisted ... The original was such camp for me ...

I couldn't stop laughing ... Seriously ...

I do still love Tubular Bells, mind ... smokin

Aside: Psycho did not scare me as a child either ...

My wiring is precarious ... Hannibal and Wolf Creek crucified me!!!

Psycho never frightened me, but I think it's an amazing movie.

Probably the only Exorcist rip-off to scare me was Beyond The Door which is about a woman who becomes possessed- there were moments in that that have stuck with me since I first saw it as a kid in the early 80's.

I have been disturbed and shocked by non-supernatural like Cannibal Holocaust, partly because of the animal cruelty, but also because of the unflinching realism in how it was shot.

I can not wait to see this film. The midnight showing is tonight. The producer Eli Roth was just on our local new channel this morning promoting it. He's not bad. Call me ELI!! LOL. They showed a couple different clips and I am so excited and will probably go see it alone. Oh well, that will make it all the more scary I guess.

I like Eli Roth. Amongst the horror community people are split- they either hate him, or like him. I'm on the side that likes him, I enjoy his films, and he loves horror, and loves the same type of horror I do.
