I am capable of caring for myself, but I do not believe in them. If you believe you need one then you shouldn't get married, IMO. It shows a lack of belief in the relationship lasting and if you do not trust someone why marry them. In agape love you are supposed to leave and cleave unto one another in a oure trusting love. A prenup shows a lack in both.

People change, contracts don't. I'm sure you have 'thought' you loved someone only to find out they were different than what you thought. Relationships end(ever been surprised by one ending?) and one of your other post had a pre-date prenup...let's turn that around lets say just by agreeing to date someone it was an automatic contract where you could lose your a$$ets...hmmm

But I like them because I think people can change, what about someone who never had any money and then they SO hits the lotto, or lands a really nice job. Now they never had a desire for money before but they get used to having it all of the sudden(even though it's not really theirs) but now they are more materilistic then they were to begin with and start thinking in terms of 'more money, more money' with a prenup I actaully think it takes away from one of the motivations of wanting a divorce(money) so getting rid of a tempation to end the marriage is a bad idea?
