Hello and welcome What to do if my boyfriend tells me he is trying to love me after being together for a year. I'd tell him to try harder Seriously, not sure what to tell you, but it doesn't sound promising to me. Good Luck.

Run, honey, run! I just had my ex whom I was only with for 6 months say he tried to love me. RUN! Don't walk and don't look back! You deserve someone who will love you... not try to love you. Cause 'trying to love you' means 'I am with you until someone better comes along', 'I am with you because I can't be alone', 'I am with you because I have nothing better to do'! RUN!
