Every so often my computer slows up with a download of a picture and I get a message that Adobe crashed and do I want to send a crash report? I have been told to update my Adobe to make sure it is up to speed, but even after doing that, it still crashes.

Any other clues what it might be?

Well what I normally always do in the field is run a mal-ware software and scan for viruses, simple mal-ware could be slowing down and crashing your browser.

I'd suggest downloading and running the following.

Spybot search and destory
CC Cleaner
and some type of known anti virus software such as AVG.

All mentioned above is free to download and use.

Also if that doesnt work it could be a problem with your browser you using firefox or Explore? are they all up to the most recent date?

Also browser plugin could be the issue etc...

I have Firefox on my computer and I have also used AVG and Spybot Search & Destroy and IObit. Everything is up to date and sometimes when it crashes, it says a problem with a plug-in....how do I fix that, please?

Uninstall Adobe and reinstall it, see if that works.

Click on the Start button and go to Control Panel, in Control Panel double click on Add or Remove Programs. You will be looking at a window that shows all (in theory) of the programs that are on your computer, look for the one giving you the issue and uninstall it.

After that go here and redownload and install - http://www.adobe.com/downloads/

*The free programs from Adobe are in a small box to the right of the screen in IE, should be the same or similiar for FireFox.
