I just remembered why I don't listen to it too much. No kidding, they have played the exact same 7 songs for the past 2hrs on the local country station. Have some variety people!shades

radio is like a much more fast paced more stressful version of TV. even if something you do like is on, the next thing sucks and you go searching for something good again. at least of TV you get 30 minutes to an hour or maybe more. on the radio you have 4 minutes of enjoyment and then its hell again. ill stick to my ipod.

i listen to slacker...and then download anything i like.

i'm quite partial to being able to skip songs...and to having the lyrics right there.

I wish I had an Ipod! I usually listen to the same cds on repeat for days at a timelaugh still better than radio.

it's similar to slacker...both allow you to fast-forward and customize your stations.

both are worth checking in to.

ive never used slacker, but pandora is a good and FREE program. you just chose a band you like and they have a radio station that focuses on that person or band and groups similar to them. its a good place to find music you didn't even know existed.

I think there's actually only one country song, they just keep playing it under a billion different names. All sounds the same to me.

I stopped listening to radio entirely in the mid 90's for a variety of reasons. With our modern tech.advancements & options there is no need for this music conduit any further.bigsmile Godspeed!Cy drinker
