I still feel that "Stir-fry" is much more appropriate, given that the Chinese take-away trade is often acussed of moving cats as chicken

One should be prepared for any eventuality Many years ago, sellers of "wet fish" (fish-mongers), also sold rabbits, skinned & cleaned. Sadly there were some unscrupulous sellers who found that skinned cats looked alot like rabbits, and were easier to catch/breed/ make money from. That pretty much stopped the trade in Rabbits. A shame really, because rabbits like chicken have no taste & are very lean. Eventually, parts of NZ were, and are, over-run with feral rabbits, and if they were available once more in a retail situation, NZ's rabbit problem would soon be a thing of the past.
I used to have pet rabbits when I was a kid, so I have never been able to eat one. They are just so cute. |
