one more childhood, lets start when
i turned 8 and everything was good
and so easy, so carefree
i'd do it all again

one more time around the block
riding in the pickup bed
like when i was young and
no one thought of "what if"

one more aimless day outside
with rocks to throw
and trees to climb if only i
could climb like i once did

one more birtday party with hats
and cake and games like pop
the balloon with your butt
to win the prize.

one more summer off to wake up
when i wake up and no school so
i can stay up 'til 1am
if i feel like it

Made me feel nostalgic. :)

Makes me want to go back to being a kid again where the only drama was falling off my bicycle or out of a tree and skinned up my knees.
