On a first date, how much money do you spend or expect to be spent on you?

I've always tried to get out as cheaply as I can with out shorting the fun. So, a light meal and a mid range local place, a few games of pool or bowling and a couple of drinks. This usually costs me about $30 not counting gas.

What about you guys?

i would pay 10 for a bj, 20 for straight sex, and if i was in a good mood 30 for half and half. thing is women say that it makes them feel like a prostitute if i suggest the menu pricing. go figure

Stastics show that most women like McDonalds on the first date, as the Happy Meal makes them feel warm and toasty.

This is so sudden, but then again, women like to go out with Shiki, so Shiki accepts. So, my little cupcake of love, where would you like Shiki to take you on our first date?

i spend whatever i feel is apropriate ive spent £20 on one first date
£35 on another and £153 on another. why i just go with what i like the feel of at the time and depends on the woman at the time. ive just had drinks. a meal and one the most expesive day a large hamper of jelly beans just cus she loves them. ironicaly she has turned out to have stuck around and not for gifts but because she knows i pay attention to the things she says. i dont put a price tag on the night out or day out because if im not fealing it i call it quits if im having fun then hey why stop?

I don't think seeing how much $$$ you can spend on a date, whether it's the first or fifteenth will determine if your a cheap ***...lol

It will depend on if she/he wants to do. I'd go out all out on a dinner, and the movie bit. But, if she likes skydiving which isn't cheap. I'm all for that too.

For me personally, If she took me ice skating, cycling, going to the beach to listen to the waves, or to see an NHL game. I'd be a happy camperbigsmile

But then again, this is coming from a guy that acts like a Dog when asked if I want to go for a ride just so I can stick my head out the window to feel the air against my face:smile:

Still hoping to go Shark cage diving for a first date. Thats a cool $1,000 probably. Not cheap. And you will never forget it either. Even if you don't see me again.

Have you not seen Jaws, man? Don't you know what happens to those people who enter cages?

Too dangerous.

I am a gentle little desert flower.

My point was having a great date doesn't have to cost a lot. I've had great dates that cost me only the price of two snow cones and a few hours walking in the park.

But, sense you brought it up, we also learn who the gold diggers are.

I prefer to go on a date where I can afford to pay my share. I'm broke, so that's no more than $20 pp. I'm uncomfortable with someone spending a lot to take me out if I can't afford to reciprocate.
