What state are you referring to? I have never not had to provide a photo id and social security card ANYWHERE I had been hired in Nevada, nor Ohio, Nor California and my cousin would say the same about Georgia.
I know of no state law which makes it illegal for an employer to document their employees legal Identification and proof of right to work in the US. At least no job for which employees will be paying income tax. |
