wow!seems a perfect job for you mikey! congrats to you! i sure want another dog already..cant where i live now..one day i will have another abused doggie to love! i miss my dog daily still though..she was so special to me..give them animals hugs for me will you? hugs to you as well for helping animals!!

Cool Sir Mikey! I love my job too and know just what you mean.

I wonder if you or anyone has any advice on this:

I have a neighbor who doesnt take in strays (cats) but leaves out food, and a plastic box with towels for a cat shelter in the bushes for strays.

Over the past year, Ive seen the regular visitor with bad sores from an apparent fight, 5 new stray kittens, and an occasional other adult cat visitor.

Im tempted to collect this womans cat shanty town and take the guests to the local shelter to avoid a new crop of strays next spring.

Are they better off getting harmed, and reproducing in the bushes, or would the shelter be a better life for them?

That is my thought but I know it would upset her. Good to have another persons perpective, so thanks very much.

So Happy For You. But like you,I would want to take them all home with me. I did save one in Jan. They were going to put her down on wed. and I was there on monday,after I saw her picture on their site. Trixie is no longer a pound puppy,she is a very loved and spoiled puppy.
