Been watching "Food Inc" on PBS....

The weight of it all can sure seem over whelming.

But there are things we can all do.

Buy organic but make sure it is really organic...

Buy local.

Buy from companies that you know treat their workers, animals and the environment with respect.

Support those farmers and consumers who are fighting battles against the corporations, they sure do need the support.

For one example I buy cage free eggs, they cost a bit more but the chickens are not mistreated. The eggs are better too.

What do you do?

I eat a lot less processed foods than I used to, and also as a result less in general. Don't drink soda hardly anymore haven't in a few years, just water, organic teas and milk (though wanna go raw). I've lost about 40 lbs in the last year from diet changes alone, from 200ish to 160. Shows how much crap we eat.
