Hey there World of Warcraft players. I am a single 30 year old man that lives in Milwaukee and plays World of Warcraft. I have long dreamed of having a girlfriend who would sit at her computer next to me and play WoW with me instead of telling me how much she doesn't like it. I just think it would be fun. Thoughts or comments from others who share my dream or are against it are equally welcome here.

Hun,

I would but I am in CA. One of my favorite comedians talks about how he is an Advanced Ninja in online gaming. And can drop a grain of poison rice in your tea. He decided his wife should play, and he says in front of every 9 year old in the country, she killed his hard built character with the only move she knew, "kicking him in the shins". My ex was a hard core Halo player and decided I needed to play, if you know me I always humor people. So he taught me how to get all the best weapons and use them, what he neglected to teach me was how to tell a good guy from a bad guy. He turned his head for two seconds and I ran into his character and unloaded every weapon in the universe on him and killed his character before he could turn around.

Ya his brother, Tony, (he is one of five so I ended up with 4 brothers) wanted me to play that stupid Mafia Wars on Facebook. So I did and I kicked butt and sent him things he needed to kick butt. It's the most boring game in the history of the world. I mean the strategy is pretty easy. You go for the biggest heists you know you can do and then when you are low on credits, you pull petty theft type things until you have enough for the next big heist. I was like "Um when does this game get fun or challenging??"

Now see, that is exactly what I'm talking about. You're awesome and there should be more women out there like you. Why do most women try to get their man to stop playing video games when it is probably the only thing that keeps us from going out in the streets and getting ourselves into trouble?

I hear we are too but yet I know women who do play games. I laugh if I am Yahoo chatting and someone wants to play a game and then say like "Dominoes". HOLD ON LET ME GET MY 10 YEAR OLD NEIGHBOR BOY TO PLAY WITH YOU.

I do not own a gaming system. It's too dangerous. Games coming out all the time. I am between two Game Stops and a Toys R Us. I would CONSTANTLY be pre release ordering.

Personally I miss the 80s. Me and my best friend, Rob Singer, used to play games with our feet because it was just a throttle with one button back then.

I agree with that whole statement. Not all, but i'm guessing some, females, see it as slightly de-feminizing. I suppose if you're a woman, who likes being so girly, then you may see it as a bit masculine to be playing video games. I, myself, don't really think you should hide your personal tastes.

I believe gaming is slowly becoming socially acceptable to women.
