I am basically a good guy who wants to make new friends. But when ever i start a conversation, girls disconnect just after i say how r u? Is that wrong?
How to start a conversation and take it forwards? Any ideas guys?

basically girls are afraid of goodness of guys.

If your intention is to make friends, then I guess gender shall not be a criteria.

Air bubbles in fuel line makes vehicle movement jerky & scary.

What do you mean by girls are afraid of goodness of guys?

Some guys goodness costs much to girls so they are afraid by experience.Latter they call them douchebags.

What do you mean it costs much to girls?

"How are you" is a conversation killer...

Either they say "fine" and end it or they tell you at great length why they are NOT fine (in which case you should hope the conversation dies.)

Try another approach.

Hmm...another approach shall be...

"How am I looking today?"

"Are you alright?"

"Why did u wear this dress?"

& something like that

Asking how you're looking may make it seem as though you're fishing for compliments.

Asking if they're alright may seem like you think something is wrong.

Questioning why they wore something may send the message that you don't like what they're wearing.

Exactly....!!

So...aren't those best conversation starter??bigsmile bigsmile

Why would they be the best?

because they would start the conversation better than better.
whoa

(( Are u really taking it serious singme???....don't tell me...!!))

I was joking.....

Well, the reason I have said I have no clue what you are talking about is because I have no clue what you're talking about.

Guys over think this so much, it's silly. Let's say your at Target and there is a pretty, you think single, woman/girl buying something. Let's say it's cat food. Ask her "Is that a good brand? How does your cat like?" You can move from there into "What kind of cat do you have? What's it's name? I have a 20 pound gray tabby named Vinnie". If she is talking move into, "Hi, my name's Dave. What's your name?" If she talks, you can move into "Ya know Starbucks is right next door. I'd love it if you let me buy a cup of coffee or a smoothie and oatmeal bar or whatever you want. Would you like to go get something and sit down for a moment and talk........."

People absolutely over think these kind of things. They get so afraid of rejection that they don't even try to start conversations.

Huh? It just doesn't make sense to over think starting a conversation. It isn't as difficult as some make it out to be.
