With a sly little smirk
That can tear me apart.

She is a dream
That comes in the night,
Only to be lost
By dawns early light.

She is a sparkle
In the heavens above,
A twinkling gem
That brings me love.

She is the one
That makes me quiver,
Makes my tears
Flow like a river.

She is the shoulder
I need when I cry,
Even when she’s the one
That brought the tear to my eye.

She is my last thought
At the end of the day,
I would not have it
