If I like someone I enjoy taking them to the Botanical Gardens. The Japanese pavilion has koi you can feed.

I do not take it as an insult that I get matched to you. I love the botanic garden in Santa Barbara.

On a date is it a requirement for a couple to do something that requires spending money? Would the date be any less romantic if absolutely no money was spent?

Are you actually associating money with anything of value?

Growing a plant and plucking a single rose from it has more value than dozens of flowers. Putting on an apron and cooking a dinner has more value than dragging someone to a restaurant and spending money on someone else's work. One you buy, the other you put a piece of yourself into.

Nope a Date can be romantic like walking at a park, going on a hike or bike ride simple is Good in my book!

..tried that suggestion and failed so hard..every time..at the mere SUGGESTION! Indiana, Ohio, Florida, Oregon, California, West Virgin-ya(a little tired atm, don't want to misspell it), South Carolina, and Colorado; I wonder if its a stereotype mentality issue or what? that track record is like the past 17yrs.. what is a kid to do theses days!?

Those of you who know me know my concept of time/money. That time is worth money esp. to the self employed, etc. People who are busy, etc. I am much more flattered if someone wants to spend time with me than lay down a wad of cash on movie tickets where we don't get to talk and dinner where we can't talk cause our mouths are full and it's not polite.

I sense the emotion in that mentioning. Seems more like a buyout/payoff.. I retrospectively feel that when i endeavor upon being lucky enough to get that opportunity to go out on a date i the past.
