I think wishing for a kiss can be a nice thought.

Since generally a kiss can mean many things I would think studying the thought and see what kind of kiss you seek is worth doing.

Just any kiss, maybe a worthless superficial greeting, or the bartering of a undesireable woman would be very hollow but a tender kiss of affection and desire from a true woman and lady is a treasure best recieved as a gift?

I really feel asking to give a kiss is polite and asking to get a kiss rather futile because then it seems more of a demand than a gift.

Depending on when, who, and where it may be a lot to ask. You are a student so sounds like you are making effort to improve yourself and have promise but that will mean more when you graduate and move to responsible employment and provide a reciprocal relationship rather than a dependent one.
