This may be a stupid topic, but I need to know if anyone knows.
I am trying to sprout avacado seeds so that I can eventually plant them. What do you got to do with them? Anything specific? I know you have to put them in water to get them to start the roots, but anything else I need to know?

stick toohpicks about half way up the seed to hold it so it doesn't fall completely into the water and fill glass with water until the bottom of seed is submerged and wait for roots then plant.

I remember my mother and I trying to get avocado trees to sprout when I was little. We'd get some heart little plants going, but never any fruit. I'm in too cold a climate to experiment with it now too- best of luck!

It is better you BUY grafted avocado trees which will BEAR the next bearing season where you will have to move the fruits (until the tree gets strong enough) BECAUSE it will weigh down the tree.
