Really?

few of those espousing smaller government are actually offering up their own jobs,, except maybe those old enough to retire anyway,,,

i would not do that but yes i would cut down the perks of the government politicians

I personally love the idea that when budgets arent passed, they arent paid

and when budgets arent balanced they take paycuts

that would cut back on alot of the stalling and filibustering to try to 'beat' the other party,,,,,

i just don't see how it will happen.
that right there is like an empty promise to me.


BUT it's definitely a good start. The fact that someone can run one term in office and continue to get full salary and benefits for the rest of their lives pisses me right off.

give them a severence package and cobra options like the rest of us and then let's see how fast the deficit goes down.
