Does anyone else think it humorous that he began his debate by saying he was going to cut government employees?

Really?

I personally love the idea that when budgets arent passed, they arent paid

and when budgets arent balanced they take paycuts

that would cut back on alot of the stalling and filibustering to try to 'beat' the other party,,,,,

i just don't see how it will happen.
that right there is like an empty promise to me.

BUT it's definitely a good start. The fact that someone can run one term in office and continue to get full salary and benefits for the rest of their lives pisses me right off.

give them a severence package and cobra options like the rest of us and then let's see how fast the deficit goes down.

cutting the numbers would be easy, cutting entire departments not so much,,,,

Romney:My plan has five basic parts. One, get us energy independent, North American energy independent. That creates about four million jobs.

Politicans are generally a reprehensible group of people, but govenment employees are not. They're just like most other middle income Americans, and they're frequently overworked and underpaid.

If private sectors workers are angry because public sector employees are paid better, they need to seek more money from their employers, not attact public sector employee. Shees!

"We the people" outnumber them and their army of tyrants. We could have made changes if they didn't work so hard at keeping us at war with each other!

A cornered animal will always fight harder to survive, and that is what we see today.... their death throws! They have made a return to sanity almost impossible without a collapse of the entire system, and it's inevitable, they have destroyed the dollar!

Sad we have allowed it to go this far with our apathy, disregard and bad choices.

The cure is about to take place in spite of us, or their failed and phony efforts, and it ain't gonna be pretty!

Cutting federal employees will only mean he is dumping Barry's friends and all his Czars.

That will save us Billions.

it would really be nice to get rid of government politicians here in Indiabecause all that the politicians do is talk bad about each other and have millions of unaccounted incomes and still run the govt

This how you fix the government..

Principles of Lean

The five-step thought process for guiding the implementation of lean techniques is easy to remember, but not always easy to achieve:

Specify value from the standpoint of the end customer by product family.

Identify all the steps in the value stream for each product family, eliminating whenever possible those steps that do not create value.

Make the value-creating steps occur in tight sequence so the product will flow smoothly toward the customer.

As flow is introduced, let customers pull value from the next upstream activity.

As value is specified, value streams are identified, wasted steps are removed, and flow and pull are introduced, begin the process again and continue it until a state of perfection is reached in which perfect value is created with no waste.

Lean Six Sigma is a powerful, proven method of improving business efficiency and effectiveness. In a nutshell, here are the key principles of Lean Six Sigma to bear in mind:

Focus on the customer.

Identify and understand how the work gets done (the value stream) .

Manage, improve and smooth the process flow.

Remove Non-Value-Added steps and waste.

Manage by fact and reduce variation.

Involve and equip the people in the process.

Undertake improvement activity in a systematic way.
