Can I report problems with that here? I went to login to Mingle2 on my phone today and was taken straight to the mobile site which is apparently deeply in need of work, and there doesn't seem any way to get it go back to the regular website. Frankly the problems are rather numerous and I'm not sure why the site was released.

Was this intentional?!

You may report problems here (we always appreciate it), DaveyB, and it was certainly intentional. We are still fine tuning the layout, but we are not seeing anything which is a show-stopper.

I must point out that one interesting approach that we are trying is including Nudges in the Mail count. Since space is so limited on the mobile site, this was one of the few options we had.

If you'd rather use the normal site, actually, you may periodically click the 'Full Site' link. You can find it at the bottom-right of the page.

Thank you, I couldn't find the link when it first loaded, I refreshed and found it (I actually guessed at the your having an m.mingle2.com some time ago and was playing with it so perhaps I had an old cached copy).

I now understand about the combining nudges and messages, but it's rather unclear that it's doing that. That said, it's shows all nudges as unviewed, so unless I go through and re-view all of them (currently 231) the number up there is kind of meaningless.

The biggest issue I have with mail though, is that while I like seeing more of the conversation when I view an incoming message, if it's more than 2 or 3 rounds long (eg: "Re:(7) just saying hi") all I can see is my own messages to the other person, and I no option to respond even if I could see the other persons message.

Thank you for the details. I will do some testing and research and come back to this.

When I look at the mobile version of "view message" on my phone (http://m.mingle2.com/inbox/show/messageid) the response box does show. So perhaps the page is just too long for my phone and erroring before it gets there.

That is good to know. What model is your phone and what OS is it running, in case?

As for the Inbox messages and Nudges being lumped together under Mail, we're going to consider a couple of alternatives to make it more clear.

I'm running and samsung android.

I've got a shorter conversation going now, and it's not showing me any responses, just my messages to the other person. But the box for me to respond is there.

Mind you the conversation that I was speaking of before was over 100 messages long, so it's not unreasonable to thing it was going past the limit of the phone memory.

I like the "Match" button on the front page, but it always shows 4 new, no matter how many I look at.

Thank you.

The number indicator on the Match tab is for the matches that you currently have. If you delete them, it should go away.

Can't add a pic to your profile either using the mobile version...

Ok. Another thing that I didn't find really clear but it does make perfect sense now that you say it. It would probably make more sense to me if it operated like the other numbers being just the "new" matches and the number cleared once they were viewed.

What model is your phone and what OS is it running, Midwesttechstep? Also, what error message are you getting when trying to upload photos? Have you tried ones with fewer pixels?
