...Next time a telemarketer calls and irritates you, Keep in mind that the person calling most likely hates there job and deals with the negative emotions of humanity ever day of their life. Be nice and blame the company not the person calling. It is simply what they are required to do to make a living. Am I wrong? What do you think?

I agree with u, I did that work for a summer when I was in college and never heard so many cuss words in my life, but it did pay the bills!!!!

Some people love to lash out at others from the safety of their home. Im sure they would be nice to someone face to face though.

most of the time I just tell them no thank you and hang up

hanging up saves them the agony of reciting their script, so I think it is a nice way to handle the situation

yeah but sometimes when you say no thanks they just keep on and on but then the best thing to do is hang up

dont get me wrong. They are definately annoying at times. I will hang up on them as well but I wont yell at them like I am personally offended that my little world was disturbed.

A long time ago I use to sell homeimprovements and we used telemarkaters to set up apointments. I knew some of the people on the phones and they enjoy it and get special training yess there trying to make a living but So are crack dealers. you need to let them know you want them to jump off a bridge.

seems like logic is excaping you mckeachie. Anyone can generalize, and lump everyone into the same category. Furthermore, I think evil people are the ones who would wish others harm because of a phone call. Just a thought to consider sport.

They should get an EDUCATION, so they don't have to take such a ****ty job!!!!
 btw: who in the Hell EVER buys anything from a telemarketer? I don't know one single person, ever, who has!!!

If everyone got an EDUCATION, then the top ten percent of America would not be able to maintain the majority of the wealth. There is a system in place that must be abided by. Not to mention that there are well educated people all over the world that call customers as part of their job.

i agree its a sad state of affairs this country has placed people in.
they probably making like 7 an hour if that.. and the rich wanna blame poor people for the shyt this country is in fiancially.. in terms of the housing market... how can you pay for homes with piss poor ass jobs?? or no jobs at all?? NAFTA!! WORLD TRADE! NEW WORLD ODOR!!! |

I agree with you because I am a telemarketer, but I don't call any of you unless you're business owners.
But yeah, what you need to do is just simply request you be put on the Do Not Call list and if they try to rebuttal, which is illegal, ask for their supervisor. |

quake im not a telemarketer. I call people that come to my website and have trouble filling out their form. Some people presume I am a telemarketer despite the fact that they gave me their phone number to call them back. I like people who hang up, it saves my breathe.
