only peace I feel no pain

eyes wide open beholding all
the marvelous structure
of sound and thought
the vast entrapment of solemnity
the chides of purity
this sweet melody of lute and string
this endless well of beauty
gracefully I drift down
with the current of the sound
the avenues of light
I glimpse what is and is to be
of what was and what never shall be seen

rejoice my mind
there is the way
the path I seek
the brighter day
run faster faster and faster yet
don't look back, but never forget
this is the edge of the universe
the the pinnacle the great rest....
