I've just signed up, thought I'd give it a try. My job doesn't give me much time to meet people and the girls I do meet where I live are either already in relationships/married or very superficial... So I'm here.

There's a good amount of humor in your profile however I would recommend a little less of the "what I'm not looking for" and a little more of the "I AM looking for."

A few pics would probably help as well. Most people are VERY leery of profiles that don't contain picture.

Hang out on the forums. There are a LOT of really interesting people here. The forums are the best place to get to know them. Even if you don't meet that forever person, you have a great chance of meeting a good friend.

I was definitely walking and talking when John Lennon was alive. Although I didn't know him personally I just had to Let It Be. I was alive when Elvis lived also and I'm still All Shook Up About it. I wasn't completely done in though until Marley ...no woman, no cry my ...ahem ... but JonBon is alive and kicking so i still have his Bed of Roses to look forward too...thank gawd for that...
