Despite the unusual lack of snow this winter,Marshall of Islandview has been determined to fulfill a childhood dream and share it with his sons...he wanted to build an igloo.Marshall and his three sons, Alexander 7, James-6 and Eli 5 take a break from construction inside their hand built igloo.Perhaps the province or some truckers might deliver some badly needed snow. With the first attempt melted away by rain and warm temperatures, he went to work on the replacement. Having built a wooden box. The few inches of snow on their property wasn t near enough so it was hauled from the lawns of cooperating neighbours, loaded into the box and compressed by the three boys stomping on it.When the box was opened, the packed snow was cut into blocks and the igloo took shape. When a warm spell came, the discarded Christmas trees of neighbours were collected. They covered the igloo and prevented it's melting away.I've secretly buried a number of nickels, dimes and quarters in some of the blocks, Marshall explained, the boys should have some fun looking for them when the igloo melts away.

p.s. Hope you like this story that took place in 2005.
