Used to, there was an American Dream. You worked for a company until you retired making good wages, bought a home, a car or two, sent your kids to college, vacationed, and retired with savings, a pension, and a gold watch. The employer paid your insurance, and paid into your pension fund. Your savings earned interest in the bank. When you retired you could do so comfortably. Wall Street was a casino for the rich and the market was played by only those playing in the business of banking or finance.

Govt worked for the people. Banks offered security for your savings giving interest and gifts for your business and deposits. Inflation, rates and payments were low. Everyone worked and welfare was a program simply to help those who fell on hard times thru catastrophic events, failing health or loss of a provider in the family. Moms could stay home to raise the kids, dad made enough for support of the family. Times were good. America was the shining city on the hill in the world that everyone envied and wanted to be a part of.

This isn't ancient history, it was less than three or four decades (30-40 years) ago!

So what changed and why? How have we come from this wonderful life of prosperity and bliss, dreams and possibilities for all, to what we have become today?

Then..... Kennedy was assassinated, MLK, and Robt Kennedy....LBJ became POTUS..... and America had begun its spiral downward! The Gulf of Tonkin false flag that took us into Vietnam, the assassinations.... the precursors of what was to become the destruction of America, our way of life, the American Dream, and begin the shadowy takeover of America by a secretive force in govt both Kennedy and Eisenhauer warned us of..... the Military Industrial Complex!

The Repusicons glorify Reagan, and as a person he was respectful, patriotic and had the best interests of America at heart as POTUS.... but then came GHW Bush onto the scene as POTUS. A former head of the CIA, from a family whose patriarch was a banker and built the family fortune. He funded Hitlers Third Reich along with many US corporations based in govt contracts and still holding the highest positions of power and wealth in the world financial market and banking today.
