The change (if it happens) from a Democratic led Senate to a Republican one will certainly change the way business is done in Congress.

If you think you know American Politics, post how you think the race will go! I think it will go 52/48 for the Republicans.

If a change in leadership happens, will that mean an endless stream of vetoes?

As of right now...

Republicans will win Democrat seats in...

Alaska
Arkansas
Montana
South Dakota
West Virginia

Republicans might win Democrat seats in...

Iowa
Colorado
Louisiana

Democrats might win Republican seats in...

Georgia
Kansas

I would have put Kentucky in here, but I think Grimey is done now with that video surfacing.

I do believe Republicans will win at least one of the 'might' states that probably being Louisiana. Landrieu will win on Nov 4 but you need 50% or there will be a runoff. Being that 2 Republicans are on the ticket only one advances and that will be the difference.

I don't believe the polls in Iowa or Colorado.

I have a feeling that Democrats will win Georgia.

The likely split will be 51-49 for either party or 50-50..

Our legislative body is like the WWE.

For show they want to beat each others brains out, but behind the scenes it's one big happy family with a common cause...

Looking out for themselves and each other, extorting corporate bribes, insider trading, and greasing the banks and media to keep their jobs as they screw the American people!

Idiot voters will keep our two headed serpent in power and nothing will change! No matter which side "wins", the American people lose!

A 7% approval rating! The faces or policies never change, and the media controlled automaton American voter will keep selecting leaders from the same cesspool expecting different results! slaphead

I think a Republican Senate will send a host of bills to Obama to get vetoed. It will give America something to think about when 16 comes around.

I've always thought voting your conscience was better than playing Russian Roulette when voting for statesmen responsible for the policies/laws of my country and the rights of its people

The two party system has failed. However, the Senate blocking every bill from the House has caused a complete breakdown in the lawmaking process. Running on a flat tire is better than having the wheel fall off.
