Community awareness and education...is a major factor of Breast Cancer Month.

Wearing Pink shows solidarity, and recognises the women who have been exposed to this dis-ease, however, education, and a pro-active mindset saves lives.

Yes money for treatment, money for research, money for care..all of it, is so very important...

Perhaps ask your boss if all can wear something pink, to work, and 'fine' them if they don't. Bake cupcakes, ice them in pink icing, and have a Breast Cancer Awareness morning tea, and 'charge' everyone to participate....offer information from the Cancer Council website.

Raise funds, yes, research the dis-ease, educate yourself and other women, and men, as to this dis-ease and it's symptoms.

Great post Sparkle! Remember, that I am sending happy shiny thoughts to you and your sister.

My boy and I (along with a bunch of friends) are doing the Walk for the Cure this weekend. Got to save second base.

Sparkle, email me and I'll send your our page. I'd like to add your sister's name to the list of friends we are walking for.

Hugs, M
