The Christmas rush is through as new years draws near ... all the decorations will be put away for the next year ... we will all look back on the old and then forward... to what is called new ... which for a time will be only the number and some will forget even that too...I am not sure my elf deserved that candy cane ... for he new it was one of my favorite ornaments broken... but I let him enjoy this time becouse once the new yrs begins ...I will not see him till the next year when winter comes again ... This year was fun ... he played with his friends around the tree ... and looked at all the lighted presents one elf was holding ... and was still trying to understand ...why my tree was hanging upside down from the ceiling ... and not the normal way in a Christmas tree stand ...oh but once Christmas came and he got his candy cane ... he did not care if the tree was even there ... so on ward we go ... as we clean up Christmas mess ... I know the love and joy an laughter will last ...for everyday should be a Holiday in our hearts and minds together ...
