Leo Messi, the greatest footballer we've ever seen.

I used to admire Tiger but his personal life and shenanigans put me off him.
I'd still love to see him become great again though, we all make mistakes and he lost his family, punishment enough in my opinion.

TIGER was talented

Yes he sure was, I play golf myself but not very well, oh to ping a 2 iron like him, he was at one time the best putter the world has ever seen, all those 6 footers he used to drop, unbelievable.

Yep Tiger was talented and Messi is by far the best footballer I have seen in my lifetime.I also love cricket and Sir Ian Botham was one of the best all rounders ever and Ruby Walsh and AP McCoy are brilliant National Hunt jockeys. The hammer they take is unbelievable but they are as tough as old boots and just get on with it though McCoy is retiring at the end of this season with 20 consecutive jump jockey championships to his name!

My favorite professional athlete right now is Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames, and I also like Zemgus Girgensons of the Buffalo Sabres. Gaudreau may very well be the NHL Rookie of the Year because of his phenomenal play to help keep the Flames in the hunt for the Stanley Cup despite all the "experts" saying they were going to fall apart just a couple months ago.

Greg Nettles N.Y. Yankees 3rd baseman.

He was rock solid for his entire career and made some of the most spectacular plays I have ever seen a 3rd baseman make, consistently.

He impressed me off the field even more, in a day and age where you can't shut 1/2 of these athletes up, you never heard a peep from him.. no scandals.. no trash talk.

He just went out there and played the game. class act.

Living? My Trainer Tommy. All my respect to such a man!
Dead? Eugen Sandow (1876 - 1925), the first bodybuilder who made a living out of his skills.

I like Dan Carter from the Crusaders/All Blacks as well as Ritchie McCaw.
I like Niklas Kronwell from the Detroit Red Wings as I've been a fan since his AHL days with the Grand Rapids Griffins.
I have a few baseball players that are my favs like Anibal Sanchez, JD Martinez, Victor Martinez, Rajai Davis and of course Miggy all from the Detroit Tigers.
My all-time favorite current American football player is Peyton Manning. There are others I like but right now he's my numero uno.

Kronwell is a beast! I don't think anyone hits harder, but a kid to watch for someday is Andrew Kerr. He's average sized, but a little short. Pound for pound there isn't a defenseman in the USHL who makes bigger hits.

Ok if I had only one choice and and that's it, it would have to be Mohamed Ali. I do like the others i have mentioned previously but Ali was and will always be the greatest for me!
