OK, some folks have to put in for vaca. nxt month.
So, JULY 11 thru 14, 2008 is the chosen time.
Place, Old Sage's house on the lake.
Council Bluffs, Iowa. Airport Eppley Airport; Omaha Nebraska.
Amtrak Terminal; Omaha Nebraska Bus Station; Omaha Nebraska.
I can arrange pick at the terminals or rent a car.

Ck out Lake Mannawa State Park, I have lake access.
Park campground with showers, 2 block walk from house.

Staying at house sleeping bags, air mattress's & blankets should be brought. Can pitch some tents in yard.
Ladies will sleep upstairs, men down.
NO CHILDREN/ADULTS ONLY
ALcohol only drank by those of legal age, you will leave.
No Smoking in house, huge deck & screened patio.

I am not a prude, but do expect that you respect my house & neighbors. Skinny dipping after 12:00PM till 5:00AM unless minor neighbors are out. After 12:00PM music & conversations need to be lowered. Just general good commom sense manners.

We make ask for a small contribution before the event for groceries, meat chips etc. These are things that need to be discussed. Everyone's opinions are welcome, plus any help.
Many have asked for something like this, this is in the middle of the us, the more the merrier. Your choice.

I have a small smoker, but know where we can get one & smoke a hog. These are the deatails we need to work out.
More the merrier.

if you have access to a barrel,, big one i can make a nice grill. or i can find a pig cooker,, and i belive i would be frying turkeys

We had a Fourth party one yr., 250 people showed up.
Backyard was rather packed, but lots of fun.

if we can get a few fryers,, i can set up a few people helping me prepare the turkeys and i can do a few chickens too,, so we can have a true southern feast.
