know anything about -window live one care--it took away my macfee program--so that it'll do the job instead--it somehow cause the 'puter slowed down and/or hestitation--i didn't buy that program---just wanted to regain the macfee back and having trouble doing so

Yup, what he said. I have AVG and I can remove Trojan horses, and stuff myself. It's a good anti virus program. And it's easy too.

Hi Shadow, If it's slow on boot up, it's more likely a registry problem, and an antivirus program will not fix it. If it boots normally...(which i doubt) then yes use a program like avg, I cureently use two...arrovax shield which is free, but not all that thorough...and stopzilla which is not free, but it works. If you're slow on boot up, i recommend cc cleaner, google it..it's a free registry cleaner. the only other way to repair your registry so it runs like new, is to dump the entire thing and reload your OS. back up all your files, or save them to disc. i just had to do this last week. There are many programs that claim to fix your registry...um...well, I simply dont believe them. If it's so great, then they would give you the price upfront not after you download it. hope that helps,
